Liz studied Dramaturgy at the Bayerische Theaterakademie, Munich; meanwhile she had her debut as a director - most works were created in a site specific theater. In 2002 - 2007 she studied directing at the HfMT Hamburg and worked intensively with contemporary French drama. Since 2007 she has completed numerous projects in the territory between theatre and performance, as well as video and installation projects. Since 2009, she has been working increasingly in the field of activism and art - being part of the artists initiative Komm in die Gange, the Megaphone Choir and the activist art collective Schwabinggradballett, which has developed an ongoing artistic cooperation with the refugee group Lampedusa in Hamburg, performing in street actions as well as in theatre contexts. Since 2015 she is working on her PhD about collective movements within the PhD program Performing Citizenship at HCU and k3 – Zentrum für Choreographie in Hamburg.
