Rosie Freeman

Rosie is a director of The Brick Box CIC, a London-based organisation and social enterprise.  She has an interdisciplinary practice which combines creative production, interactive installation and outsider live art with social inclusion and community development.  She has a passion for popular culture and the creativity which can be found outside of traditional arts environments and in the margins of ‘visible’ society. Working in partnership with her fellow director Eleanor Barrett, Rosie devises and produces projects that empower marginalised communities to take part in arts and cultural activity in under used spaces. Their wok creates bold and exciting collaborations, paying particular attention to the relationship between ‘novice’ and ‘expert’, treating both as useful and inspiring perspectives.
