Francesca Marconi studied art, cinema and theatre. She is one of the founders of Almescabre Company and has created several installations and performances presented in the Locarno Film Festival, Junge Hunde, Drodesera and other festivals and networks. Francesca has lived and worked in Buenos Aires, where she developed art projects in a slum. After returning to Milan she started to collaborate with the Department of Contemporary Art Education at Careof and viafarini. Together with Alessia Bernardini she founded the Tutamondo collective, a part of Non Riservato network, and produced artistic actions and shared workshops in Milan. For the last two years she lives in Lecce conceiving and curating the Gap project. Francesca is bledning documentary practice with art.
