Born in 1985, Tajša has studied tourism at the Vocational College for hospitality and tourism in Maribor and has graduated with a diploma titled ‘Tourism for people with disabilities – themed path for blind and visually impaired’. In 2007 she received a special award for the feasibility of the project for the Desezonalization of Jesolo and year round tourism at AEHT conference (European association of hotel and tourism schools) in Jesolo, Italy. In 2011 awarded with Snovalec award by Slovenian tourist board for a project Čutimo Maribor / Feel Maribor. In 2011 Tajša started working as a producer at Živa dvorišča / Living courtyards programme which drove to formatting an assocciation HIŠA! which is today executing various programmes: street theatre festivals (Ana Desetnica in a collaboration with Ana Monro), community art, performative tourism etc. She worked there until 2015. In 2014 she won the best collaboration award within the team Nanotourism at the Binennial of design Ljubljana – BIO 50 for a Rajzefiber biro project. She was a head of the Rajzefiber biro programme until the end of 2014.
In 2011 Tajša Perovič started working as a producer within an artist in residency programme of Pekarna Magdalenske Mreže – GuestRoomMaribor. From November 2015 she is working as a producer at Zavod Kersnikova / Kersnikova institution which is operating in the field of art, culture, education, technology & society. She is a co-founder of ZIZ – theatre group that works with methodology of theatre of the oppressed; until 2014 she was a part of the team as a producer and as a performer.
She has co-founded a street theatre group Sepatekapate. Currently Tajša is working with Bunker, Ljubljana where she was aboard at Drugajanje festival (2014, 2015, 2016) and Mladi levi festival (2015, 2016). She is the Maribor producer of the Urban Heat project.
